"Worked great hunting pheasant in North Dakota. Wind, temperature in the low 30’s, and wicked brush. Kept my ears warm riding in an open Mule (which is why I bought the hat). It also worked great as a brush busting Delmar, when I had to enter heavy brush to roust out the birds. The ear covering folds up when walking to avoid overheating."

"I thought this hat was going to be thicker from its appearance online, but it is a little thinner. That said, it is a well made hat with good insulation. I’m a big guy, & the hat fits well. First product I’ve bought from Kuiu, and I’m a fan. I’d recommend this hat for cold, wet weather."
